A long-awaited lightweight version of Nonoji's school lunch staple, the food scooping basket, is now available. It features a short handle that makes it easy to handle with one hand. You can choose between medium and coarse mesh.

The secret behind lightweight scooping baskets that retain their functionality

Point 1: Partially adopts new stainless steel that is twice as strong as conventional products

The frame and joints are made of the new stainless steel SUS821L1, which is twice as strong as 18-8 stainless steel. Also, thinner rounded pipes are used than conventional products to reduce weight.

Point 2: The handle is 35.5cm long, so it can be used easily with one hand

The handle is short, measuring 35.5 cm. This was created in response to requests for a knife that could be used for one-handed cooking. It is significantly lighter than the previous model (coarse, medium).

Point 3: Easy to wash and hygienic. The advantages of Nonoji's unique ingenuity remain intact.

Amazingly light. Lighter than a 500ml plastic bottle (coarse grain)*, it significantly reduces strain on the body.

There are two types of mesh: "medium" and "coarse"

Three different sizes of "eyes" are available depending on the ingredients and purpose.
"Medium": 7mm mesh, for udon, corn, etc.
"Coarse": 11mm mesh, for vegetables, fried chicken, etc.

*Note: The 18-8 stainless steel used by Nonoji is a tough, flexible metal with high spring strength.
However, if you repeatedly perform operations such as bending and unbending that place a large load on one part, it cannot be said that there is absolutely no possibility of metal fatigue occurring.
