Shredded cabbage with plenty of meat and miso

千切りキャベツでたっぷり肉みそ

It goes well with any dish!

Ingredients (for 1 person)

Sesame oil 20ml
garlic 4g
ginger 10g
chili peppers 1 small
ground pork 100g
Shredded cabbage 100g (salted and drained)
sweet soy sauce 60g
soy sauce 10ml
salt Appropriate amount

How to make it

1) Finely chop the garlic and ginger and slice the chili peppers.

2. Peel the cabbage using a Super Light cabbage peeler , sprinkle lightly with salt and rub in the cabbage. Leave for about 30 minutes, then squeeze to remove as much water as possible.

③ Add sesame oil to a frying pan and heat until smoking.

4. Put the minced meat in a pot and flatten it with a wooden spatula, browning the large sides. Do the same on the other side, then break it up and brown the entire surface.

⑤Oil will accumulate, so add chopped garlic and ginger to infuse the oil with its aroma.

⑥ Once the garlic and ginger are cooked and have taken on color, add the shredded cabbage, sweet bean paste, and soy sauce and stir-fry until the water has evaporated.

⑦ Check the taste and season with salt if necessary.

The key to making meaty miso with shredded cabbage

It's important to brown the meat thoroughly, as this will make a huge difference in the flavor.

When you add the cabbage, it will release water, so if you stir-fry it thoroughly to remove the water, it will stay delicious and less likely to spoil.
