Nonoji Co., Ltd. has begun selling the mobile phone case "So-seki," designed and developed by Space Co., Ltd., a company that develops cross-border human resources and businesses, on Nonoji Rakuten Ichiba and Nonoji Yahoo! Shop.
"So-seki" is a portable case modeled after a traditional Japanese smoking pipe case, and is part of the "Sankon Project," which supports Africa by promoting innovative Japanese products, and is supervised by Ousmane Sankhon (Advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in Japan, former Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea, and TV personality), who is also a director of Space Co., Ltd.
This time, the case will be sold as a set with Nonoji's "Lunch Spoon" and "Lunch Fork," which have been designed to be comfortable to eat with and use.
Anytime, anywhere... Leading the way to a new eco-friendly lifestyle
The government aims to enact the Plastic Resource Recycling Promotion Bill in April 2022. Aiming to reduce single-use plastics, a prime example of this is the move to charge for plastic spoons and forks at convenience stores. We believe that such environmentally friendly initiatives will help, even if only modestly, achieve the SDGs currently being promoted around the world. So-seki, a portable cutlery pouch developed as a proposal for this new lifestyle, is likely to receive widespread support from those who want to protect the global environment.
