Refreshing in summer
Ingredients (for 3-4 people)
| Somen | 2 bundles (100g) |
| cucumber | 1 bottle |
| Carrots | 1/2 bottle |
| ham | 4 to 5 sheets |
| salad oil | 1 teaspoon |
| [A] | |
| mayonnaise | 5 tablespoons |
| vinegar | 1 teaspoon |
| sugar | Two knobs |
| pepper | A little |
| Mustard paste | A little to taste |
| salt | Taste and add two pinches |
How to make it
1. Cut the cucumber and carrot into thick slices using the carrot sanmai method.
Mix the cucumber with 1/4 teaspoon of salt, leave for 5 minutes, then squeeze.
Cut the ham into 4-5mm wide pieces using a knife.
*If the carrots are hard, boil them for 1.5 to 2 minutes, depending on your preference.
② Fold the somen noodles in half and boil for the time indicated on the package.
Immediately transfer to cold water, changing the water several times, until thoroughly cooled, then drain thoroughly.
3. Transfer the somen noodles to a bowl, add about 1 teaspoon of salad oil and mix.
(If you leave it as is, it will become sticky and stick easily.)
④ Add the drained cucumber, carrot, and ham to the bowl of somen noodles.
Add all the seasonings in [A] and mix.
⑤ Season with salt and it's done.
