Nonoji's "First time using chopsticks properly" series is a set of practice chopsticks that uses two Kapla (connecting aids).

The design has no fixed parts, allowing for a high degree of freedom and a natural grip. It is designed to prevent bad habits.

"Chanto Chopsticks" was developed with the hope that children would have fun learning about chopsticks, since they use them every day. By simply showing children how to hold their hands and fingers, they will begin to use chopsticks with confidence and enthusiasm . Then, by providing advice on the correct way to hold chopsticks, children will master the correct way to hold them.

When silicone couplers (connecting aids) are attached in two places, the spring action helps with opening and closing . Two types of couplers are included: soft and hard . When first using the chopsticks, use the hard couplers, which provide more support, to learn to hold and grasp them in the correct position . Once children become accustomed to them , switch to the soft couplers to learn to control the chopsticks more independently.
They can be easily attached and removed, allowing your child to practice using chopsticks at a pace that suits their level of skill.

We offer two sizes to suit your child's hand size: SS size for children around 2 years old and S size for children around 5 years old.
